Why

Ever since I can remember I've been interested in East Asian cultures. As a kid, anime, manga and monster movies saw my interest shift more specifically to Japan. I first visited Japan when I was 15 and it was everything I had ever hoped it to be. I've been back two more times since then in the last 4 years. I've come to be interested in all elements of Japanese culture: food, films, tradition, history, art and of course, language. I'm happy to finally be taking Japanese formally and am excited for the year to come.

  1. Wow! す-てきです. Fascination with a foreign country's culture can be the most powerful motivation for learning its language, right? I also find Japanese culture very intriguing, especially food and art.(I love Japanese cuisine.) As you said, I believe that the efforts to learn about each other will bring a better future to both Korea and Japan. I am positive that with your passion you will be able to master Japanese very fast.
